Marco Bartoccioni Band put together a great show and although relatively uknown in the Czech republic, they totally grasped everyone's attention at the big hall. The show was a great blues rock performance of three skilfull and entertaining players. Totally recommended!
Leman Blues Festival (FR)
What a concert, what a showman!! Marco Bartoccioni, accompanied by his Italian trio, made a memorable first appearance in France at the Leman Blues Festival. Their music, a unique fusion of blues, southern rock and soul, captivated the audience. Marco, a virtuoso on the lap steel guitar, demonstrated his talent by navigating between various musical styles, while remaining faithful to the roots of the blues.

The theremin or even the Moog, leading to a unique sound of its kind, a sort of bridge between the influences of Rome and those of Nashville, with additional accents from Detroit and New York. The playing is both subtle and powerful, the voice always well-placed, and it is by approaching with wit topics that particularly resonate with the time we live in that Marco Bartoccioni reveals well-thought-out tracks like 'I Was Born Here,' 'Bounty Killer,' 'Smokey Chicago,' 'Don’t Play A Game,' and 'Conversation With The Devil,' true sonic gems.
